Sample Extractors are used for preparing undisturbed specimens from larger samples to carry out strength tests. Large extrusion forces used indiscriminately will compress the soil resulting in false values of shear strength and consolidation. To extract soil sample from 38mm dia thin wall sampling tube on a horizontal position. Fitted with a wire trimmer and a split mould mounting bracket. It is used to extract the undisturbed soil sample from the soil in tube for testing triaxial shear test and UCC test size :38mm dia and 76mm length.
